Pan Perdu
Serves 8

3 Eggs
3/4 cup Milk
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
1/4 tsp. Vanilla
3 tbsp. Butter
8 slices French Bread
1/2 cup sliced Strawberries (or other berry)
1 cup Cream Cheese

Méthode:
Heat oven to 350°. Beat eggs, milk, nutmeg and vanilla. In a large frying pan, melt 1-1/2 tbsp. Butter over medium heat. Mix the cream cheese and strawberries in a bowl. Slice a pocket in the slices of bread on both sides. Place on a platter and place onto oven to keep warm until service. Repeat with remaining bread until all of the product has been processed. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with syrup.
